Hi, I am Yves and I’m roasting specialty coffee on a micro scale from the heart of Portugal’s mountain region. Why Da Serra? It means “from the mountains” — a nod both to where I roast and where the world’s best coffee begins its journey. Just like the high-altitude farms growing the finest coffee cherries, this little roastery thrives in the crisp mountain air.
The story? Like many unexpected passions, mine started during Covid. What began as a curiosity turned into an obsession — and five years (and probably too much caffeine) later, Da Serra was born. This is a one-man show: one roaster, one pair of hands, and a whole lot of heart.
At Da Serra, I roast in small batches to focus on quality, freshness, and flavor. I keep things intentionally small so I can switch it up often — offering micro lots that bring variety and excitement to your cup. No stale blends here — just fresh, carefully curated beans that I’m genuinely excited to share.
